DescriptionA set of photographs taken by the police in 1922. A contemporary woman who has come across the photographs is haunted by them and tries to imagine what might have happened...the stills become animated, two characters appear and disappear. But what actually happened remains a mystery. The photos were used in the trial of a man convicted of murdering his pregnant lover by the River Lea, East London. A theatrical reconstruction, using only verbatim statements, raises issues of whose truth and what did happen to this woman from whom only a letter survives.
