Joanna Davis

Joanna Davis was co-founder in 1973 of Four Corners in London’s East End, which continues to provide workshops, screenings and facilities for filmmaking in the community to the present day. Films such as 'Often During the Day' (1979) and 'Bred and Born' (1983), made in collaboration with Mary Pat Leece, reflect feminist concerns and identities. She was also a founder member of Circles and collaborated with artist Lis Rhodes on 'Hang on a Minute', a series of thirteen one-minute films commissioned by Channel Four in 1983.
