Joanna Davis

Joanna Davis is a filmmaker and founding member of Circles. In 1973 she also co-founded Four Corners, which continues to provide workshops, screenings and facilities for filmmaking in the community to the present day. She often worked in collaboration, including with Mary Pat Leece on 'Bred and Born' (1983), a film produced over four years with women in London's East End, and also collaborated with artist Lis Rhodes on 'Hang on a Minute', a series of thirteen one-minute films commissioned by Channel Four in 1983 for television broadcast.
