Made by an all-woman crew, the film places protests by Welsh women within a historical context of protest and direct action: the food riots of the 1790s; the Chartist activities of the 1830s and in 1981, the Greenham Common Peace Camp which was established as a result of a march from Cardiff.

‘I’ll Be Here For All Time’ challenges the popular notion that women's place is in the home. Its basic premise is that a knowledge of women's history is essential: without it, women are always beginning again.
