Judy is 7 years old and about to take her First Communion. In her realm, rituals are stolen from adults and invested with a peculiar magic. The sudden death of Judy’s father starts a chain of events which leads her away from the blissful innocence of childhood into the adult world of self‑doubt, anxiety and uncertainty. No‑one can answer her questions, so Judy seeks her own truth.
