Nearly every woman has part of her body that she rejects or doesn’t like. Yet a woman’s acceptance of her body is crucial to her identity. This film takes the view that a woman’s body cannot be seen apart from her personality and how she acts in the world.
‘Size Ten’ is an experimental documentary set to music and lyrics by Robyn Archer. The film raises discussion about body image, sexuality, society’s conditioning of what women should look like, the fashion industry’s profits from our insecurities, pressures on women to conform, adolescence and how women can feel better about their bodies.
