Women’s body hair on public display is the subject of this short video which presents an incisive analysis of the media taboos surrounding women’s body hair. The media projects an image of women appearing as eternally smooth, the reality is that in order to conform to that ideal of “beauty” women have to endure the daily task of shaving, waxing and an array of smelly creams. In 7 hair raising minutes ‘The Cutting Edge’ manages to raise these issues in a tongue-in-cheek way.
