‘The Invisible Hand’ is a contemporary story about two seemingly unconnected people. Michael is a successful executive of a large corporation. Suzette is a single mother who lives with her baby in a modest council house. In discovering the connection between the two, the film presents a humorous portrayal of a hidden area of women's work. The film also takes a wry look at male sexuality, and the male becomes the object of our gaze.
